Now, the places for the semifinals will be defined next Tuesday (9), when the two teams meet again at the Maracanã Stadium. Whoever advances will win the clash between Vélez Sarsfield (Argentina) and Talleres (Argentina).

With the support of more than 45 thousand fans, Timão began to put pressure on Rubro-Negro. And Corinthians' first chance came 3 minutes later, when Mecon replaced Yuri Alberto, who passed the ball to Gustavo Mosquito, who finished off Santos' defense. A minute later, St George's Park had another chance when Mecon's shot went over the net.

And Flamengo created the first opportunity in the 16th minute. Alaskaeta launched the attack to striker Pedro, who completed Cássio's defense under pressure. After that, the team led by Dorival Junior took control of the game.

In the 32nd minute, Rubro Negro almost opened the scoring, and Alaskaeta shot from the edge of the area to save Cássio. Four minutes later, however, the Uruguayan opened the scoring more efficiently. After Cantillo didn't let the ball go, the number 14 made a beautiful cross from the edge of the area through a screen.

With a disadvantage on the scoreboard, coach Vitor Pereira returned from the break to make two changes, with striker Roger Guedes replacing midfielders Adelson and Giuliano replacing Cantillo.

But, even with the change, Flamengo were better, entering the second just five minutes later, when Rodinei found Gabriel Barbosa hitting a goal from the left, giving goalkeeper Cássio no chance.

And there was a goal from @gabigol!

Both teams created chances side by side, but the score remained until the final score.

Timão and Lublo Negro played for Brazil before the continental clash. Corinthians visits Avai next Saturday (6) at Estádio da Ressacada. On the same day, flamenco visited São Paulo at Morumbi.
