Palmeiras terminated the contract of defender Renan, who was arrested on July 22 for running over and killing a 38-year-old motorcyclist in an accident in Paulista, Bragança.

The 20-year-old player was loaned to Bragantino until the end of the season, when the team ended its relationship with Renan.

Renan was arrested for manslaughter and spent the night in a public jail in the neighboring city of Piracaia (SP).
